Senior Scout Bike Hike

In June one of our senior scouts undertook a bike hike to complete her scout medallion, prior to going up to Venturers.  The group rode more than 60 km's from Bright to Beechworth over a couple of days camping in the Scout and Guide Hall in Myrtleford along the way and another night in an open camp site.

 Everybody completed the ride and they all had a great time riding.

Venturers Do Indoor Abseiling

 On the 8th of August, the Venturers drove across the border to a scout hall in Lavington to under take some abseiling practise:

 

 

Cubs Bronze Boomerang Badge Olympics

On Thursday the 2nd of August, the Cubs had an Olympics Sports night which helped them all work towards elements of their Bronze Boomerang badge.
Firstly they lit the Olympic cauldron:

 Then the games began, with a tossing and catching game with bean bags:

 

 

 Then there was a game involving bouncing a ball whilst negotiating some witches hats:

Gold Medals won by all:
